The hotel was in a marvellous position very close to centre, Mercado and place to catch bus to Tolantongo, Barra Vieja restaurant for an excellent $ 3 burger and which has hourly departures to CDMX. I spent 2 nights and would book again.

The location was particularly good, to Barra Vieja restaurant for an excellent $ 3 burger overlooking garden. Plus, it was short walk to centre, Mercado and place to catch bus to Tolantongo, and the bus terminal. The room was huge and good and the beds were large. There was a nice bathroom with a shower and bath sheets.

Our overnight stay near Tolantogo was made comfortable by Hotel Avenida. the spacious bathroom and warm water were a pleasant surprise. the working TV with English channels and great Wi-Fi signal were added bonuses. the rooms had three full-size beds and an extra room, perfect for families or groups. the parking area was secure and gated, and there was a playground and garden on the property.
We were pleasantly surprised by the value for our money at Hotel Avenida. Cons: Nothing could have been better.

The place was nice and tidy, plus it's super close to everything downtown. They made it really easy to book a wheelchair accessible room with a cool bathroom and TV, which was awesome 👍. the price we paid was $345, but it was worth it for what we got!

Amazing Location
Upon arriving at the hotel, I was delighted to find out that it is conveniently located just 1 km away from the impressive Ex Convento de San Miguel Arcángel historic building. It felt like I had stumbled upon a hidden gem in the heart of Ixmiquilpan. The hotel's extensive garden and furnished terrace provided the perfect spot to enjoy a delightful cup of coffee while soaking up the charming atmosphere. It truly felt like a little oasis amidst the bustling city life.
